Roll with Play Safe.
At HighRoller.nz, we are committed to providing a responsible gambling environment and take our duty of care seriously. While gambling is a source of fun and excitement for most, it can have negative effects for some individuals. Pathological gambling has been recognized as a serious condition in medical science for many years.
Since day one, we have taken proactive steps to help mitigate these risks. Responsible Gambling at HighRoller.nz includes multiple measures to minimize potential negative side effects and provide support for those who need it.
Knowledge and Education
The most effective tools against gambling-related harm are awareness and education. We aim to equip our players with the knowledge necessary to maintain control and avoid negative consequences.
Limits
Net Deposit Limit
This feature allows you to control the amount you deposit weekly and/or monthly. You can deposit up to your chosen limit and may also deposit an amount equal to any withdrawals made during the period.
Example: If you set a $50 weekly deposit limit and deposit $50, you cannot deposit more until the limit resets. However, if you withdraw $100, you will be able to deposit an additional $100 within the same period.
- Weekly Net Deposit Limit: Tracks deposits and withdrawals from Monday 00:00 CET to Sunday 23:59 CET.
- Monthly Net Deposit Limit: Tracks deposits and withdrawals from the first to the last day of the month.
Loss Limit
Set a cap on how much you can lose within a specific timeframe (daily, weekly, or monthly). The limit applies to the net loss amount and is deducted from your session’s starting balance.
Example:
- Daily Loss Limit: Summarizes all bets placed in a single day.
- Weekly Loss Limit: Includes all bets from the last seven days.
- Monthly Loss Limit: Covers bets made over the past 30 days.
Unsure what limit suits you? Use this formula to determine your budget:
Your income – rent/mortgage – utilities – groceries – other expenses = Your personal budget
Your gambling limit should never exceed your personal budget.
If you wish to set a limit, contact us via Live Chat or email at [email protected].
Time Out
Sometimes, taking a short break from gambling is necessary. Our Time Out feature lets you temporarily disable your account for 24 hours or 7 days.
Self-Exclusion
For longer breaks, we offer self-exclusion options:
- 2, 3, or 6 months: Your account will automatically reopen once the chosen period ends.
- Indefinite self-exclusion: The account will remain closed for a minimum of 1 month and will only reopen if you contact our support team.
To self-exclude, reach out via Live Chat or email at [email protected]. Please note that email requests are not immediate and require confirmation from our team.
Creating a new account during self-exclusion violates our terms and may result in a permanent ban.
HAMPI Self-Exclusion List
We encourage affected individuals to close all gambling accounts and register with the HAMPI self-exclusion list. More information can be found at the Estonian Tax and Customs Board (EMTA).
